From the late Victorian era, a sapphire and diamond navette shaped cluster ring. Centrally set with a round mixed cut, medium blue sapphire, measuring approx. 4.5mm x 2.9mm. Calculated sapphire weight approx. 0.47ct. Surrounded by fourteen old brilliant cut diamonds, measuring approx. 2.0mm to 2.5mm diameter. Estimated total diamond weight approx. 0.75ct, approx. clarity VVS-SI2, approx. colour F-G. Yellow claw setting, plain polished yellow shank, split design shoulders with fleur-de-lys decoration. Shank stamped 18c (H&Co) pat 202389, testing and valued as 18ct gold. Gross item weight 3.16gms.
