We accept payments via Sage Pay or Pay Pal, both world-wide payment processors giving the highest level of security.
Delivery time is normally within 2 to 3 days of receipt of your order, if the item is in stock. Special orders may take up to 4-6 weeks .
We use either "Signed for" or "Special Delivery" and a signature will be required in each case. If you are unavailable to sign for the delivery, it will be kept for a short time at your local sorting office and you may collect it from there. The sorting office normally requires that you take some ID. Items returned to us due to non-delivery may have our delivery costs deducted from any refund made and we reserve the right to charge for any re-delivery.
PLEASE NOTE THAT ITEMS THAT HAVE BEEN MADE TO ORDER ARE EXCLUDED FROM OUR EXCHANGE OR REFUND POLICY.
Returns & Exchanges
We offer either an exchange or full refund if you are not happy with your purchase. You must return your item at your own expense within 14 days (for a refund) or 7 days (for an exchanged) of receipt in the original packaging and in perfect condition. We recommend that you use a postal method with insurance, such as Special Delivery, and using adequate packaging to protect the itm.
We do not accept liability for items damaged or lost in post.Exchanges
We are happy to exchange items to at least the value of the original purchase price. This is subject to the article being returned within 7 days of receipt and in perfect condition. Please email us at email@example.com, using the subject "Exchange Request" so that we can deal with it promptly, and give details of the item you wish to have in exchange. If the item you wish to have in exchange is still available when we receive your email, we will reserve it for you until you return the original purchase. Email communications are deemed as "received" when we have sent you an email to confirm the exchange. Please note that exchanges will only be processed through the website.
Please note: For reasons of hygiene we do not exchange earrings. This does not affect your Statutory righs
Refunds & Returns
Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org before returning the item. We regret that items made to special order to your specifications, ie. where you have specified a metal type and/or finger size, are excluded from our Refunds and Returns Policy. Please note that returns or refunds will only be processed through the website.
Pierced Earrings: We do not make refunds on earrings. This does not affect your Statutory Rights.
The majority of rings at Nicholsons Jewellers can be ordered in most sizes. We suggest that you have your finger measured, many jewellers will measure your finger size free of charge, even if you do not buy from them. Alternatively, if you are able to come into the shop, we will measure your finger size.
We regret that, unless the sizing has been undertaken by Nicholson's Jewellers, we cannot replace an incorrectly sized ring free of charge and a fee will be added to any subsequent re-sizing. Please bear in mind that some types of ring, for example those set with stones all around, cannot be re-sized.
Some items may be out of stock when you place your order, although the website may show the item as being "In Stock". Nicholson's Jewellers, therefore, reserve the right to reject any orders received and will return any money paid for an order as soon as possible within normal business hours.
