Important Information - Please read before placing your jewellery order.
We know the legal bits and pieces can be tedious to read through, and it does all sound a bit formal, but it can save a bit of bother.
We aim to despatch orders within 2-3 business days and for Nicholsons this means Tuesday to Saturday inclusive. That's because we close on Sundays and Mondays and a few of our delivery companies don't work Saturdays. We send our jewellery by a signed-for type of delivery. If you're not in when a delivery is attempted, you should find a note letting you know where to collect your purchase or how to re-arrange delivery. If you do not collect your purchase from the delivery company (this may include, but is not limited to, Royal Mail, Fedex, DHL) or rearrange with the delivery company its delivery to you the item might be returned to Nicholsons as undelivered. We regret that any refunds in this instance will have the cost of delivery deducted.
PLEASE NOTE THAT ITEMS THAT HAVE BEEN MADE TO ORDER ARE EXCLUDED FROM OUR EXCHANGE OR REFUND POLICY AND THIS INCLUDES ITEMS THAT HAVE BEEN RESIZED TO YOUR ORDER.
We do apologise for 'shouting' above, but we're sure you agree that it's best for all concerned to be absolutely crystal clear. Sometimes, we're asked to resize to a particular size and then the customer finds out they asked for the wrong size. If it's our mistake the, of course, we deal with it.
Items may be returned, in their original packaging and condition, at your own expense within 14 days. We are not liable for damage and/or loss of the whilst they are being sent back to us and we, therefore, sugguest that you use a return postal method with insurance, and using adequate packaging to protect the item.
EXCLUSIONS: The following items are excluded from our Refund Policy :
items made to special order;
items that you have had customised to your instructions including, but not limited to, engraving and resizing
Items that are returned to us but which fall into any of the exclusion categories will not be accepted.
We regret that, unless the sizing has been undertaken by Nicholson's Jewellers, we cannot replace an incorrectly sized ring free of charge and a fee will be added to any subsequent re-sizing. Please bear in mind that some types of ring, for example those set with stones all around, cannot be re-sized.
None of the above affect your statutory rights.
Some items may be out of stock when you place your order, although the website may show the item as being "In Stock". Nicholson's Jewellers, therefore, reserve the right to reject any orders received and will return any money paid for an order as soon as possible within normal business hours.
