A beautiful ruby and diamond ring from the Art Deco era in a cluster style. Centring on a millegrain set, oval mixed cut, medium colour ruby approx. 0.66ct and measuring 6.00mm x 4.30mm x 2.57mm. The ruby is flanked to the top and bottom by an old European cut diamond, measuring 3.40mm-3.50mm diameter, these two diamonds flanked in turn by five channel set, calibre cut, medium to dark coloured rubies, measuring 2.10mm x 1.20mm to 3.70mm x 2.80mm, to a white navette shaped millegrain decorated cluster head which is additionally grain set with 14 8-cut diamonds approx. 0.58ct with K/L colour and SI2-I1 clarity and measuring from 1.20mmm to 2.00mm diameter. The cluster head points down the finger giving an elegant and elongating appearance on the hand. Unhallmarked, tests as platinum. Circa 1930s. Gross item weight 4.99gms. Finger size 6.5 (US/Canada), N (UK/Australia) with some resizing possible.
