A beautiful Victorian ring typical of the era displaying an abundance of antique detailing from the collection of gemstones set against a decorative gallery to the hand engraving that continues all around the gold band.
The head of the ring comprises a central mixed cut, oval garnet in a rub over gold mount. To each side a pair of pearls in beaded settings, an oval garnet and terminating in a final pearl. The edges of the gem set section are decorated with gold scroll work design and sits on a gold band that has a hand engraved pattern all around. Hallmarked from the collectible Chester Assay Office and showing the date letter for 1881.
Finger size Q (UK/Australia), 8 (US/Canada) some resizing is possible, although this may result in a loss of some of the engraving on the band.
