Gold gate bracelets are so synonymous with the turn of the 19th century into the 20th century.  They come in all sizes and this four-bar gate is one of the more often seen.  The bars are completely unadorned, which perhaps makes it all the better for everyday wear, and are stamped "9ct" on the reverse of one of the inner bars. The bracelet is comprised of eight sections of 4-bar gates whcih are connected by sections of oval gold links in a brick laid style.  Measuring 13mm wide and with a padlock in good working order and a gold trace link safety chain.
