Dating from the early 20th century this antique gold bangle is set with a row of sapphires and diamonds in claw settings across the front half. Typical of the era and a fine addition to an antique jewellery collection.
Nine graduating sized, cushion shaped/round mixed cut sapphires measuring from 3.65mm x 3.70mm to 5.10mm x 5.00mm diameter. Between each sapphire a pair of old cut diamonds (16 in total) measuring between 2.40mm and 2.70mm diameter.
Estimated total diamond content is 1.10ct with colour and clarity assessed as G-H and VS-SI. Estimated sapphire content is 4.67ct, medium blue colour.
The gemstones are all set in yellow gold claws on a rex style gallery to knife-edged, side-hinged bangle. The bangle closes with a V-spring catch with attached trace link safety chain.
The head of the bangle measures approx. 6.20mm wide. No hallmarks, tests as 15ct throughout.
