A lovely Victorian bangle dating from 1890. The bangle is quite narrow (approx. 16mm wide) and so very suitable for the smaller wrist. It is decorated to the front half with a trail of ivy leaves down the centre and bordered on each side by a beaded and rope-twist pattern. It has a hinge in good working order and fastens with a V-spring catch. Unfortunately, there a two small dents near the catch, but the bangle is priced accordingly.
The inside measurements are: 54mm from side to side (ie. from the hinge over to the clasp) and 49mm from top to bottom (ie. from the patterned half down to the plain half).
