This beautiful diamond bangle dates from the Victorian era, circa 1890s, and sparkles with 2.28ct of old European cut and Swiss cut diamonds.
In the middle of the bangle there is a circular, white fronted, flower cluster design with an old European cut diamond that mesures 4.50mm diameter and is surrounded by eight old Swiss cut diamonds and eight old 8-cut diamonds.
To either side of the centre flower cluster is a flower and leaf pattern set with 20 old swiss cut diamonds.
The back of the bangle is made from three oval, gold wires. It has a hinged opening and an integral box snap and figure-eight safety catch. The bangle is not hallmarked and this was common in the Victorian ages. It reacts to testing as 9ct gold and sterling silver.
Combined diamond weight of 2.28ct with colour and clarity assessed as I/J/K and Si-I1 respectively.
