Victorian cufflinks crafted in 15ct gold in London 1885.
The cufflinks are extravagantly hand engraved with a floral pattern to both sides of the cufflink. Connected by oval gold chain stamped with the marks for 15ct gold. Oval in shape and slightly domed to the front, the cufflink backs are hallmarked for the London Assay Office and also bear the maker's mark "E.C." Measuring approx. 0.69" x 0.50".
Perfect as a gift for coming of age, graduation, wedding day or anniversary. Possibly by Edwin Culver, a goldsmith whose mark was registered in December 1871.
