An antique ruby and diamond ring from the English Victorian era. Set to the centre with a round ruby and an old diamond to each side, these three stones are all bead set to diamond shaped mounts across a slightly bevelled gold plaque with grooved band above a ionic capitol scroll and fan-shaped decoration. A slight D shaped cross section band, approx. 1/8th of an inch wide and marked to the inside with the marks of the Chester Assay Office for 15ct gold for the year 1897. Finger size 6.25 (US/Canada); M1/2 (UK/Australia) with some resizing possible.
