Originally seen on a pocket watch chain and often carved with a crest, spinner fobs such as this one also make an interesting pendant in a way that brings the antique into the present.  This one is in 9ct rose gold and bears the hallmark from the Birmingham Assay Office for 1892 on the gold collar.  The spinner has been mounted to one side with a cornelian and to the other, a bloodstone.  The fob spins within a curb link frame below a gold ball and loop to attaching either to a watch chain of through which a chain may be threaded.
