An exquisite Art Deco emerald and diamong ring set with a bright green octagonal step cut emerald to the centre of a diamond garland. The emerald is collar set in white metal with a leaf and berry design garland created with round four 8-cut diamonds to either side (eight in total). The central emerald and diamond section is set between two rows of round 8-cut diamonds (36 diamonds in total) to an open work gallery and plain D shaped band. The total diamond weight is calculated at 0.25ct with colour and clarity assessed as H/I and SI respectively. The ring is not hallmarked, tests as platinum. It has been engraved to the inside with the word "FOURPENCE", possibly a pet name, and the date 3-1-42. Finger size 7.5 with some resizing possible.
