A vintage find from the Art Deco era, this very pretty amethyst and diamond dress ring features a rectangular shaped, step cut amethyst measuring approx. 9.05mm x 7.11mm x 3.92mm deep.  The amethyst is held within four claws to a surround of of eight old mine cut diamond accents, spaced two to each side of the amethyst and collet set in white metal.  An outer border of 36 single cut diamonds completes the cluster.  Split diamond set shoulders each with eight single cut diamonds to a plain polished white band stamped 18ct and testing as 18ct white gold.

The amethyst weighs 1.81ct with colour assessed as medium to strong purple and with good clarity.  The 60 diamonds weigh approx. 0.50ct with colour and clarity assessed as H/I/J and VS-SI respectively.  Gross item weight 4.14gms.  Finger size 6.5 (US/Canada), N (UK/Australia).
