An utterly fabulous Art Deco ring showing all the design elements of the era, from the elongated octagonal-shaped panel to the stepped shoulders set with baguette cut diamonds.
Three principal diamonds, of old European cut, are held in white, millegrain-decorated white collets down the length of the panel to a surround of 22 calibre-cut, medium green emeralds to a white, rex coronet style gallery. Measuring approximately 21.10mm in length, the panel has wrap-over, stepped shoulders with a rectangular profile and each set with two baguette cut diamonds. A plain polished, "D"-shaped, cross-sectioned band measuring 2.10mm at the base. Estimated total diamond weight 2.92ct with colour assessed as from F-I and clarity assessed as from VS1-SI1. No hallmark, stamped "plat" and testing throughout as platinum.
Finger size 4.25 (US/Canada), H1/2 (UK/Australia) with some resizing possible. Age circa 1930s.
