An emerald single stone ring from the Art Deco period. The emerald cut emerald measuring approx. 9.96mm x 8.02mm x 5.62mm deep and has a calculated weight of 2.75ct. The colour is a slightly bluish light green and it is held in white prong claw settings to a cur corner signet style head.
To either side of the emerald the shoulders and mount are bead set with 44 small round single and rose cut diamonds measuring between 1.2mm and 1.5mm diameter. The carat weight of these 44 diamonds is approx. 0.25ct with colour and clarity assessed as I-K and Si1-I1 respectively. Additionally, eight shaped baguette cut pieces of black onyx form the typical 1920's chevron pattern, one to each shoulder and one to each side.
Plain polished white D shaped band, 1.8mm wide, unhallmarked and testing as platinum.
