A stunning modern opal and diamond pendant in the Art Deco style. the pendant features an oval cabochon opal as its main gemstone to a white gold border with a sprinkling of diamonds to the top half. Suspending from a diamond set loop to a black onyx ring with two diamond set collars which are fitted to a fine trace link chain. The chain measures 44cm long, fastening with a bolt ring clasp and the benefit of a second loop so that the necklace may be worn at a shorter length. The pendant is handmade. Fitted in a fixed position to a machine made chain. Stamped "K750", tests as 18ct gold. Gross item weight 7.78gms. Length of pendant 1.75" long x 0.63" wide
Details of the Gemstones:
One white oval cabochon opal, measuring approx. 29.5mm long x maximum width 14.60mm x depth 4.50mm. The weight of the opal is stamped to the pendant at 12.25ct. The opal is predominantly green and blue iridescent colours and orange in harlequin effect.
Thirty-nine round brilliant cut diamonds, each measuring between 1.00mm and 1.10mm diameter. The diamond weight is stamped to the chain at 0.15ct, assessed as such and with colour and clarity assessed as H-I and SI1-IS2 respectively.
A circular black onyx ring measures 10.10mm diameter.
