An Art Deco signet ring dating from 1927 and assay at the Chester Office. The oval top of the ring is heavily carved with a seal insignia "S" written in a gothic style. The shoulders have a grooved pattern to each side with small, semi-circle scallops to the top. A D shaped cross section band 0.13" wide, hallmarked to the inside 18ct gold with the Chester Assay Office marks for 1927 which remain crisp and clearly stamped. Also marked with the sponsor's mark HG&S - Henry Griffith & Son, active from 1895 to 1933
