This recent vintage emerald and diamond ring has been created in the Etruscan style. The oval mixed cut emerald has been set to the centre of a wide, bevelled gold band in a rub-over mount and flanked to each side by a pear shaped brilliant cut diamond.
The emerald weighs approx. 0.60ct; the total diamond content is 0.20ct and approximately F/G colour and VS clarity. The band is a wide yellow gold bevelled shape with 2 grooved rowsborder to each side and a three gold bead design above and below the emerald.
The width tapers from 0.57" to 0.30" and is hallmarked 18ct gold Birmingham 1883. The sponsor's mark is SE and this is for Suzanne Elizabeth, a designer whose jewellery we stocked in the 1990s. Finger size P (UK/Australia) which equates to 7.5 (US/Canada) with some resizing possible depending on the size required and we can do this resizing in our own workshops.

The trend that is Shop Local (Shop Locally for the grammar purists!) has taken off with the advent of Covid-19. Shop local is a way to help maintain the vibrancy of where you live and keeping local employtment figures healthy. Of course, not every item you wish to buy is available in your local town, and that's where the internet is helpful. Online shopping with an independent business has similar benefits to the Shop Local idea.
