Typical of diamond engagement rings crafted from Victorian times through to the early years of the 20th Century, this five stone diamond ring is set in a yellow gold, navette-shaped head with a pierced open work gallery.  Pointed shoulders to a D-shaped, cross-sectioned band with faint hallmarks from the Birmingham Assay Office for 1906.  The diamond taper from the centre stone and have a total weight of approx. 0.23ct, quality assessed as I/J colour, SI/I1 clarity.  Finger size O (UK/Australia); 7 US/Canada).
