An imposing vintage diamond ring in the popular three stone design. The ring is set with three transitional cut diamonds the centre stone measures approx. 7.70mm x 4.52mm deep with a calculated weight of 1.65ct. A diamond to each side each measuring approx. 5.90mm x 3.38mm deep and each calculated to weigh 0.72ct (1.44ct in total for the two). All three diamonds are assessed as J-K colour and VS2-SI1 clarity. All hand made in platinum circa 1940, the ring is marked "PLAT" with a makers mark H.L.B. and a later hallmark from the Sheffield Assay Office for 1980. Gross item weight 4.67gms. Finger size 6 (US/Canada); M (UK/Australia) with some resizing possible which we would carry out in our own jewellery workshops.
