Such a pretty pair of vintage diamond earrings; a stud style with a difference. Small round diamonds, approx. 2.0mm diameter, are claw set in yellow to the centre of a five-leaved petal, the leaves undulating around the gemstone and etched with a linear pattern radiating from the diamond. The overall measurement of the earring is 1.0cm maximum diameter. The reverse of the flower is hallmarked as being 18ct gold from the Birmingham Assay Office in 1975 and also a marker's mark of A&W. Sitting neatly on the earlobe and for pierced ears only with a post and butterfly fitting.
