A diamond set solitaire ring comprising of an eight claw set old European cut diamond, measuring 8.40mm x 8.61mm x 5.00mm deep.  White basket style mount has an undulating gallery.  The shoulders are grain set with four diamonds each and the white band is a plain polished "D" shaped, cross section.  The ring has not been  hallmarked but the band is stamped "AD PLATINUM" and it tests as platinum.

The age of the solitaire is c. mid-20th century and it is in very good condition.  The diamond weighs 2.36ct and the colour and clarity have been assessed as L and VS1-VS2 respectively.  The shoulder diamonds add 0.08ct.  The ring will fit finger size 7 (US/Canada), O (UK/Australia) though resizing possible and we would carry out in our own jewellery workshops.
