A fabulous sapphire and diamond cluster ring with a substantial-sized sapphire to give an impressive show on the hand.
The ring centres on a cushion-shaped blue sapphire approximately 2.30ct and with a slight violetish-blue colour and minimal inclusions.
A surround of eight early, round brilliant cut diamonds surround the sapphire. The diamonds have a combined weight of approx. 1.75ct with the quality assessed as G-H colour and SI2-I1 clarity.
All the stones are set in white claw settings to a white-fronted cluster mount with yellow under bezel. Raised yellow shoulders and a plain polished "D"-shaped cross sectioned yellow band approx. 1.90mm wide. The ring is not hallmarked but is stamped "18CT PLAT", testing as 18ct gold with platium.
